Please Vote For the “Future Calders” Project

Wester Hailes Growing Communities have applied for funding to the ECCAN Greenlight Fund for the “Future Calders” project will seek to stimulate and support community action by commissioning a community participative design and development exercise to examine ways in which the community can come together to discuss what they need and how to organise to achieve it. In particular the exercise will explore issues such as climate adaptation, improving community facilities (including the Janitors House, and the creation of a Edinburgh Tool Library type community workshop, and community food growing/nature restoration projects.
